Snarky rejection….Grrrr…

Snarky rejection....Grrrr...

Into every life, a little rain, oops I mean snow–must fall. It can be really frustrating trying to find representation. It can be really frustrating when you don’t feel your manuscript, even after it was requested was really read. Sometimes the snarky little comments give away how well it was read (or not read) as well.

I’ve asked a potential agent to do a read of my work (or they have asked me). My time is valuable as well. If you are going to offer comments, constructive and helpful criticisms are welcome as they help me improve my product, but not useless snark. Those snarks have only confirmed that I would not have been handled as professionally as I hope to be if they had decided to offer representation.

A bullet gratefully dodged by yours truly as far as I’m concerned.

I console myself with the fact that I know I’ll find a perfect match one day. My literary agent prince will come! Yes Virginia, Santa’s just running a little late, but he exist.

There’s no place like home Toto……There’s no place like home
